But using the Internet for a $200-plus purchase comes with risks. When prom season rolled around, she bought her dress at Dillard’s.“I’ve learned my lesson from buying dresses online,” she said. “I just know not to order from the Internet now, at least not for dresses.”
Victoria Castello, on the other hand, said she had a great experience buying online. The short, white, ring-dance dress she ordered arrived on schedule, and she said it fits great.“I tried it on, and I absolutely love it,” said Victoria, also a Princess Anne senior.
