The primary purpose of the Campus Staffing Associate is to strategize and execute superior college recruiting programs for Microsoft Greater China Region. The role sits within a dynamic working environment and provides significant challenge for a recruiter in variety of roles recruited for, capability of program management and need to attract the best talent among campus.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
SMSG MACH MBA Program Recruiting: The ‘Microsoft Academy for College Hires’ (MACH) MBA Program Staffing Associate is responsible for the recruitment events, interview arrangement and diversity management indication. Attract the best talent for MACH MBA China Experience. Partner with US College Recruiting, International Staffing and GCR Staffing to design and implement the China MACH MBA Recruiting Plans each year. Ensure we are present at 3 US, 2 European and 4 Asia-based schools with a high concentration of graduating Chinese nationals and a solid Chinese studies program. Maintain a balance of diverse hires from each school.
Other Recruiting: Partnering with intern hiring managers to build an effective intern pool of suitable candidates for college recruitment. Manage hiring managers’ expectation under the Microsoft normal process and procedure. Sourcing top talent among campus. Building network with schools, professors and student ambassadors. Managing vendors to deliver college recruitment project – career talk, paper test and etc. Actively determines new and creative sourcing channels.
Involves recruiting in a high volume environment. Identify ways to ensure that applicants to Microsoft are treated in a professional and consistent manner, maintaining and improving upon the company’s image and reputation, even when candidates are rejected.
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree at a minimum – ideally English Major Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in staffing / recruiting – ideally college recruitment. Fluent English speaking and writing skills required. Fluent Mandarin speaking and writing skills. Strong cross-group collaboration skills in a multi-cultural, matrixed environment Experience working across organizational and geographic boundaries, a plus Excellent organizational agility, problem solving, and project management skills Strong PC skills in Windows applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team. Requires strong negotiating, influencing and interpersonal skills. Passion for innovation in alignment with the business needs Solid experience in program management and instructional design
