Primary Job Responsibilities :

•      Work with the USarchitect to create large scale architecture for a few domains in Shanghai

•      Design and oversee solutions for specific use cases and provide frameworks, interfaces, and services that can be extended and reused for future requirements

•      Understand the broader business context around their respective domains and develop architecture and influence implementation to support it

•      Develop and communicate technical processes, standards and best practices with a domain team

•      Create architecture consistent with enterprise architecture standards, guidelines and principles and work works with Engineering to ensure that implementations are consistent with spirit of these principle

•      Lead product design and code review. Can competently review aspect of their product and domains

•      Work with US Enterprise Architect to evaluate new technologies and do hands-on proof of concepts and recommend solutions for challenging technology and architecture problems, with particular attention to performance and scalability.

•      Establish Application Architecture guidelines, standards and conventions

•      Be the ""go-to-person"" for architectural guidance.

 

Job Requirements :

•      BS/master degree in CS or related major

•      10+ years of experience in requirements analysis, design, development and testing of distributed, enterprise-class applications/platforms with particular attention to scalability and high performance, with demonstrable experience and success acting in the application-class software architect role.

•      Experience architecting high volume web applications or large transactional client-server systems in Java or other languages with an emphasis on availability, scalability, and performance.

•      Specific experience with J2EE, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services , REST, and Messaging technologies. Experience with NoSQL persistence technologies and Big Data is a plus.

•      Experience with UML modeling and domain decomposition techniques

•      Extensive knowledge and experience with highly scalable data architectures including RDBMS design & optimization, O-R mapping, and application of distributed caching technologies

•      At least 3 years of prior experience in an Architect role is required.

•      Experience with Spring or equivalent frameworks is a plus.
