Qualifications
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a technical support role, working with relevant
technologies
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred
Layer 4-7 Application Knowledge: HTTP, DNS, FTP, SSL Intermediate to advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP Experience in troubleshooting client/server issues Experience in using sniffer technologies or packet tracing technologies such as WireShark, Ethereal, TCP dump, etc. VLANs and Routing (Layer 2 + 3) Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems down to the packet level At least one UNIX variant: Linux, BSD, Solaris, HU/UX, etc. Proficiency with Windows NT, 2000, XP, or 2003 VLAN – setup and implantation Must be able to read, write and speak English and Mandarin fluently.
