Description:
Responsibilities:
1.
Meeting or exceeding
targets for the institution’s student enrolments from China.
2.
Attending marketing
events and fairs to promote the institution, support agents and assist partner institutions
in marketing campaigns.
3.
Conducting
presentations and training for agents and other partners in the features and
benefits of study at the institution.
4.
Developing and
managing key relationships and partnerships in China including those with
recruitment agencies, high schools, colleges and Universities.
5.
Developing and managing
academic, research or other partnerships with universities or government bodies.
6.
Developing the
institution’s image and brand in China.
7.
Arranging, supporting
and hosting the institution’s delegations to China.
8.
Analysing and
reporting on market trends in China.
9.
Building and managing
the institution’s alumni network in China.
10.
Providing assistance
and guidance to prospective students and their parents.
11.
Other tasks as
required by the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor degree or above,
majoring in management or marketing.
- At least 5 years working
experience in sales, pre-sales or marketing.
- An ability to communicate
effectively in English and Mandarin Chinese, being skilled in both written
and oral communication.
- Strong presentation and
public speaking skills.
- Good project management and
analytical skills.
- Experience in the study
abroad industry is preferred but not essential.
- Former graduates of New
Zealand universities would be looked upon favourably and are encouraged to
apply.
- A willingness to travel
regularly for business.
