Responsibilities:
l Define test solution for wireless core network, including requirements analysis and high level design. Analyze wireless standards from 3GPP, 3GPP2 and other technical forums Fully understand the requirements from customers and product managers
l Lead detailed design of test solution using well defined software practices and techniques
l Implement the test solution using C/C++ on Linux platform. Troubleshoot complex technical problems which involve software and hardware systems.
l Execute unit test and integration test of the implemented solution
l Create technical design documents, and source material for user documentation
l Provide technical guidance to team members
l Facilitate supervisor to recruit and train new hires
Mandatory Requirements:
l A BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering is required with a minimum of 6 years of related/applicable experience.
l Excellent C/C++ coding skills
l Strong technical leadership.
l Be familiar with LTE EPC/UMTS PS domain/GPRS, LTE EPC is highly preferred. In-depth knowledge of NAS(EMM/ECM) procedures.
l Experience with TCP/IP based packet protocol stacks and protocol implementation
l Excellent English communication skill
l Rich experience on running a small engineering team in international company and exposure to working with global teams
l Excellent real-time SW development skill on Linux.
l Motivated, self-starter who likes challenging work
l Strong problem solving skills and team-oriented approach
l Hands-on experience in working within a structured software development environment that includes Requirements Analysis/Definition, Design, Defect Tracking, Configuration Management Software and Structure Testing
Desired Requirements
l Basic OOA/OOD knowledge.
l Experience with TCL script
l Experience with software/hardware integration and debugging
