Qualifications<br>1. Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a technical support role, working with relevant<br>
technologies<br>
2. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred<br>3. Layer 4-7 Application Knowledge: HTTP, DNS, FTP, SSL<br>4. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP<br>5. Experience in troubleshooting client/server issues<br>6. Experience in using sniffer technologies or packet tracing technologies such as<br>WireShark, Ethereal, TCP dump, etc.<br>7. VLANs and Routing (Layer 2 + 3)<br>8. Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems down to the packet level<br>9. At least one UNIX variant: Linux, BSD, Solaris, HU/UX, etc.<br>10. Proficiency with Windows NT, 2000, XP, or 2003<br>11. VLAN – setup and implantation<br>12.
