<p class="p2">Key Responsibilities:</p><p class="p2"><span style="line-height: 1.8em;">1.</span><span class="s1" style="line-height: 1.8em;"> </span><span style="line-height: 1.8em;">Develop knowledge of the University’s context, such that your recommendations are realistic in light of local conditions within the institution.</span></p>
<p class="p4">2.<span class="s1"> </span>Evaluation of University’s programs, attributes and activities in China, with recommendations for improvement that are sophisticated, realistic, well informed by market norms and that address University’s priorities. </p>
<p class="p4">3.<span class="s1"> </span>Keep abreast with market developments and the laws and other factors that would impact recruitment of students.</p>
<p class="p4">4.<span class="s1"> </span>“Represent” University in a way that reflects the mission and values of the institution, and is ethical.</p>
<p class="p4">5.<span class="s1"> </span>As directed by University’s, support and expand University’s recruitment network in China, including:</p>
<p class="p4"><span class="s2">·</span><span class="s1"> </span>selecting professional recruitment partners (high school, post secondary institutions, language schools, etc.)</p>
<p class="p4"><span class="s2">·</span><span class="s1"> </span>liaising with existing partners on a regular basis,</p>
<p class="p4"><span class="s2">·</span><span class="s1"> </span>attending fairs</p>
<p class="p4"><span class="s2">·</span><span class="s1"> </span>working with applicants to both screen, select and convert quality applicants</p>
<p class="p4"><span class="s2">·</span><span class="s1"> </span>creation, expansion and/or management of an education agent network may be a job requirement in the future</p>
<p class="p4">6.<span class="s1"> </span>Conduct presentations at high schools, colleges, fairs, conferences and other venues. </p>
<p class="p4">7.<span class="s1"> </span>Assist with the University’s messaging within the market (in the form of marketing communications, web sites and social media) to a very high standard. Conduct interviews about study at University’s with social media and traditional media channels.</p>
<p class="p4">8.<span class="s1"> </span>Assist University’s with the design, implementation and management of inbound and extra-curricular programs in China.</p>
<p class="p4">9.<span class="s1"> </span>Initiate and assist in the development of promotional materials for the Chinese market. Translation of documents will be required. Write newsletters, correspondence and other materials as required.</p>
<p class="p4">10.<span class="s1"> </span>Have the capability to interact with and support faculty and other senior leadership at the University. Serve as a primary point of contact for University’s in setting strategies and defining tactics.</p>
<p class="p4">11.<span class="s1"> </span>Accompany University’s personnel on official visits.</p>
<p class="p4">12.<span class="s1"> </span>Complete a monthly report on activities.</p>
<p class="p4">13.<span class="s1"> </span>Track travel expenses and diligently reports those expenses on a monthly basis via an Excel tracker.</p>
<p class="p1"><b style="line-height: 1.8em;">Qualifications:</b></p>
<p class="p2"><span style="line-height: 1.8em;">1.</span><span class="s1" style="line-height: 1.8em;"> </span><span style="line-height: 1.8em;">Bachelor degree or above, majoring in management or marketing background.</span></p>
<p class="p4">2.<span class="s1"> </span>5 years or above experience in increasingly responsible roles related to education or international education. Prefer experience representing a known institution.</p>
<p class="p4">3.<span class="s1"> </span>Have an ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin Chinese and is skilled in both written and oral communication skills demonstrated on a daily basis.</p>
<p class="p4">4.<span class="s1"> </span>Strong marketing, recruitment and academic partnership management ability.</p>
<p class="p4">5.<span class="s1"> </span>Requires travels within China.</p>
<p class="p4">6.<span class="s1"> </span>Passion in International Education industry and oversea expat returnee is preferred.</p>
